About Del Lago
Having travelled the globe, we discovered a piece of paradise here in San Marcos, on the shores of Lake Atitlán. The perfect place to grow our family, and call home.
Del Lago is a family-owned and run guesthouse located directly on the shores of Lake Atitlan in San Marcos, one of the small villages surrounding the lake. Known as a ‘spiritual heaven’, San Marcos boasts a multitude of centers for meditation, yoga, reiki, alternative therapies and massage.
We aim to create a welcoming, family-feeling, home from home feel for our guests. We are a location based place with simple rooms, beautiful common areas, beach and lake access, and one of the most beautiful views in the world!!
Our inspiration has always been around creating the place we would want to find on our travels. We hope we can create that place for you!!
Del Lago is more than just a place to stay,
We are a sun soaked dock. A place to watch fishermen paddle by, and the sun rise and set from behind the mountains that encircle the lake.
We are a yoga platform with volcano views over ever lapping waves.
We are a place to bake in a sauna then plunge in the water.
A place to back-float, stargaze, and watch volcanoes erupt into the night sky.
We are an ever-evolving dream, brought to life in bamboo and coffee wood.
We are a family run place, that welcomes other families. Children will always be welcome here!!
We are classes and workshops, for kids and adults alike.
We are a multi-faceted venue to host and hold the dreams of others, as well as our own. Where co-creations sew the seams of our worlds together, forever.
